Project Summary
This project entails the installation of approximately 10,500 feet of 12 inch reclaim water main. The project begins at 12th St. and County Road 54 East, going west down County Road 54 East to Dairy Rd., north along Dairy Rd. to Daughtery Rd., east along Daughtery Rd. to Wire Rd., north along Wire Rd. ending at Kossik Rd. and Wire Rd.
Initial purpose is to use reclaimed water to irrigate the Zephyr Lakes Subdivision.
This project will reduce potable water irrigation usage, thereby reducing the stress upon the Floridian Aquifer which supplies the City of Zephyrhills their drinking water.
Upon completion of this project, there will be opportunities, along this route, for residential and commercial properties to utilize this inexpensive form of irrigation if they so choose.
