WATER METER INFORMATION
Rates Effective 10/01/11 – (price increase 9/30/2020)

When each water meter is installed we will include a dual check valve on ¾” and 1” meters. All other meters will have either a double check valve or reduce pressure valve.

Backflow preventer required on every outside water supply valve if inside the City.
Scheduled 40 PVC required.

IRRIGATION METER INFORMATION
Increase rates September 30, 2020

  • COST:  Same as above referenced price quotes.
  • If property is INSIDE City limits there is a $175.00 connection fee. Also there is a $40 plumbing permit required which can be              pulled by the homeowner, a plumbing contractor, or an irrigation contractor.
  • If property is OUTSIDE City limits there is a $218.75 connection fee. For further details contact the City of Zephyrhills                          Building Department (813) 780-0020.
  • To begin processing of an irrigation meter, come to the Zephyrhills Building Department and paperwork will be written up                     with fees to be paid at that time.
  • From date of fee payment – allow up to fourteen (14) working days for meter installation.
